Collect cash, checks, and electronic payments in a secure and accurate manner. Ensure proper documentation of all transactions. Accurately count, verify, and record cash deposits, ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) guidelines Ensure compliance with the company's financial policies and applicable regulations. Monitor accounts receivable aging and take corrective action to reduce overdue accounts. Maintain a professional relationship with cashiers and store managers to ensure smooth communication and quick resolution of payment-related issues. Ensure all cash transactions are properly logged and balanced at the end of each shift. Assists Cashier for Bill Change. May involve working with sensitive documents, handling large sums of cash, and interacting with security systems. Process and verify all cash and cheque deposits Reconcile daily cash and cheque deposits against bank records, identifying discrepancies and ensuring any issues are resolved promptly. Input transaction details into the bank's deposit system and ensure all information is accurate. Ensure proper security measures are followed when handling large amounts of cash or sensitive documents. Safeguard and archive all deposit-related documents and records as per bank protocols. Implement and enforce security measures to protect cash and confidential records, including the use of alarms, surveillance cameras, and restricted access zones. Conduct regular audits of the cash locker, vaults, and storage areas to identify vulnerabilities. Provide detailed cash flow reports to AR Specialist t on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Monitor the company's banking fees and charges, negotiating terms and rates where necessary. Prepare regular reports on outstanding accounts, collections status, and progress Maintain confidentiality and integrity when dealing with sensitive data or financial records. Adhere to ethical standards, ensuring no personal or unauthorized use of the stored assets or documents.
