Overview

We are looking for a

Next.js App Developer Assistant

to support the development and maintenance of modern web applications built with

Next.js (App Router)

. You will work closely with the lead developer on building UI components, fixing bugs, improving performance, and assisting with feature implementation across multiple projects, including AI-powered platforms and SaaS products.

This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment and wants to grow their skills in production-level Next.js applications.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and maintaining applications using

Next.js (App Router)

Build and modify reusable

React components

Help implement page layouts, routing, and dynamic rendering logic Fix UI and TypeScript errors across pages and components Support integration with APIs, backend services, and databases (Supabase / REST APIs) Follow existing project structure, component libraries, and coding standards Debug build issues, import errors, and deployment-related bugs Collaborate with the lead developer to implement new features and improvements
Required Skills

Solid understanding of

Next.js (App Router preferred)

Strong knowledge of

React.js

Experience with

TypeScript

Familiarity with

Tailwind CSS

or modern CSS frameworks Basic understanding of component-based architecture Comfortable working with Git (pull requests, commits, branching) Ability to follow instructions and work within an existing codebase
Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)

Experience with

Supabase

, Firebase, or similar backend services Understanding of

server components vs client components

Experience fixing ESLint / TypeScript build errors Familiarity with AI-powered apps or internal admin tools Basic knowledge of deployment platforms like

Vercel
