News Presenter

to join our dynamic business radio team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering news stories and current affairs information to our audience in an engaging and informative manner. This role requires a strong on-air presence, solid journalistic skills, and the ability to connect with viewers or listeners effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Research, prepare, and present news stories on air with clarity and confidence. Write and edit news scripts for on-air segments, considering the audience's perspective and engagement. Conduct interviews with guests, experts, and analysts to provide deeper insights into news topics. Stay up-to-date on current events, breaking news, and trends to deliver relevant content. Work closely with the editorial team to ensure the quality and accuracy of content. Engage with the audience through social media and provide updates on ongoing news stories. Coordinate live broadcasts, including planning for on-location reports. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while on camera or air.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field. Proven experience as a news presenter, journalist, or in a similar role. Exceptional verbal communication skills with an engaging on-air presence. Strong writing and editing abilities with attention to detail. Ability to research and fact-check information effectively. Comfortable using broadcasting equipment and related software. Familiarity with current affairs, local and global news landscape. Proficient in using social media for news dissemination and audience engagement. Ability to handle live broadcasting situations with composure and professionalism. Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic or another language will be an advantage.
