We specialize in language services including language instruction, translation, and media monitoring. Some of our projects include operating post-language programs at the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh and the U.S. Embassy in Amman. Done by Native values integrity, excellence, and empowerment. We are looking for an employee who is driven, experienced, professional, and shares our company values. Done by Native is seeking experienced Media Specialists & Translators to provide daily media summaries and alerts to an English-speaking audience. The Media Specialist will translate material to and from Modern Standard Arabic, Iraqi Dialect Arabic, and English. Location: Hybrid Requirements:
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in political science, journalism, communications, or other relevant fields. (REQUIRED)
- At least 5 years of experience in news media monitoring and media analysis (REQUIRED)
- At least 5 years of Arabic to English translation experience.
- Near-perfect English verbal and written communication skills. Fluent idiomatic American English.
- Native speaker of the Iraqi Arabic dialect.
- Must be a proficient user of Twitter, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
- Familiarity with Iraqi politics and U.S. Foreign Policy in Iraq.
- Familiarity with U.S. and Iraqi print and broadcast news sources.
- Arabic to English translation experience.
- Computer and social media skills.
- Skilled in organizing tasks to meet regular deadlines.
