We are seeking a neuroradiologist who specializes in the interpretation of medical images taken with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or computed tomography (CT) scanners. They are trained to interpret these images and diagnose diseases, injuries, and other conditions that affect the brain, spine, nervous system, and other organs.
Neuroradiologists may also be involved in the development of new radiological techniques and equipment used in the field of radiology.
Perform diagnostic evaluations of patients using neuroimaging modalities such as MRI, CT, and PET
Collaborate with other physicians to develop treatment plans for patients based on diagnostic findings
Educate patients and their families about diagnostic procedures, risks, and potential outcomes
Maintain accurate records of patient examinations, diagnoses, and treatments
Keep abreast of advances in neuroimaging technology and methodology
Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy of diagnostic results
Assist in the training of new neuroradiologists
Serve on hospital committees related to the use and development of neuroimaging modalities
Conduct research into the efficacy of new neuroimaging modalities and techniques
Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals
Present findings at national and international conferences
Provide expert testimony in legal cases involving neuroimaging
Required Skills and Qualifications
M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school
Atleast 3+ years experience
Have a license to practice medicine in the current state.
Demonstrated clinical excellence with superior patient satisfaction scores
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
