- Minimum 5-6 Years of experience and proven hands-on work experience as a network security engineer or information security engineer.
Requirement:
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Network Engineer, Information Systems, or related IT fields CCNA Switching, Routing, and CCNP Security is a must
- Network engineer certifications such as CCNP Security (Cisco Certified Network Professional Security), CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), and GIAC Security Certifications.
- Fortigate Network Security Certification, Juniper Network Certification
- Extensive technical knowledge in security network devices (switches, antivirus, firewalls, etc) and any other security networking hardware or software tools
- Thorough understanding of the latest technologies, security principles, and protocols.
- Complete command on dealing with security systems, intrusion detection systems, firewalls, anti-virus software, log management, authentication systems, content filtering, etc.
- Understanding of the web-related terminologies and software such as web applications, web related protocols, service-oriented architectures, and web services.
- Ability to work under pressure and stressful scenarios and Ability to obtain a security clearance.
- Ability to communicate and report network security incidents and issues to the upper management.
- Ability to define and implement the results of malicious code, mobile code, and anti-virus software.
- Knowledge of computer forensic tools, data loss prevention methods, and disaster recovery methods.
- Demonstrable experience in analyzing and interpreting threat intelligence indicators, TTPs, and threats
- Problem-solving skills for quickly uncovering and fixing network flaws
- Ability to remain calm while multi-tasking and working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to details and good problem-solving skills.
- Good team player, Self-confident, motivated, and independent
- Analytical skills for thoroughly examining computer systems and networks and for identifying vulnerabilities
- An attention to detail that prevents stealthy cyber attacks
- Resourcefulness or ingenuity for anticipating security risks and implementing new ways to neutralize
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to train co-workers and leaders on threats and protection protocols
Technical skills:
- Knowledge of current information security trends
- IT networking and programming skills
- Ability to test for, track, and resolve threats including malfunctions and attacks
- Security protocol-building skills including authentication systems
- Ability to administer firewalls, routers, virtual private networks (VPNs), and other security tools
- Ability to maintain server, LAN, and WAN architecture
- Infrastructure documentation and event reporting capabilities
- Knowledge of cyber laws and compliance
