Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Network Security Engineer

with

10+ years of expertise

to lead the deployment, integration, and management of

Illumio micro-segmentation solutions

. This role is critical in strengthening enterprise network security, implementing Zero Trust principles, and ensuring robust workload protection across data centers and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

Illumio Micro-Segmentation:

Implement and manage

Illumio Core

and

VEN agents

across enterprise servers and endpoints. Design and enforce

Zero Trust segmentation policies

to prevent lateral threat movement. Monitor application dependencies and endpoint traffic using Illumio visualization tools. Administer policy synchronization, tampering protection, and workload health checks via

Illumio PCE

. Generate onboarding and vulnerability status reports, including

Smart Grid Expansion

and

Red Team findings

.

Policy Development & Management:

Define and enforce segmentation policies based on workloads, flows, and compliance needs. Create, test, and deploy granular security policies with

Illumio's Policy Compute Engine (PCE)

. Continuously refine policies to meet evolving business and security requirements. Integrate Illumio with

SIEMs, firewalls, orchestration platforms

, and other security tools. Automate policy deployment and updates to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Monitoring & Incident Management:

Use Illumio tools to monitor inter-workload traffic and detect anomalies. Troubleshoot and resolve micro-segmentation connectivity and enforcement issues promptly. Provide technical support for incidents related to Illumio segmentation.

Governance & Training:

Maintain detailed documentation of segmentation architecture, policies, and processes. Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and train internal teams on Illumio best practices. Ensure adherence to compliance frameworks, audit requirements, and internal security standards. Generate regular reports for management, compliance, and audit review.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in

Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field

. 10+ years of professional experience in

network security engineering

. Proven hands-on experience with

Illumio micro-segmentation

solutions. Certifications in Illumio or equivalent network security domains (CISSP, CCNP Security, etc.). Experience working in

large-scale enterprise networks

and

hybrid cloud environments

. Strong knowledge of Zero Trust, network monitoring, and security integrations.

Pay: AED14,000.00 - AED14,500.00 per month
