We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Mid-Level Network Engineer
to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our network infrastructure, ensuring its stability, security, and optimal performance. This includes the configuration and troubleshooting of switches, firewalls, voice, and Wi-Fi systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching infrastructure across enterprise environments.
Configure and maintain enterprise firewalls (e.g.,
Fortinet
,
Cisco
, etc.) to support secure perimeter defense and internal segmentation.
Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot
VoIP systems (e.g., 3CX, Cisco Call Manager)
and
Wi-Fi networks
including controller-based architectures.
Monitor network health, bandwidth, and traffic patterns using tools like
SolarWinds
,
PNM
, or
FortiManager
, ensuring maximum uptime and performance.
Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent solutions in line with ITIL practices.
Collaborate with system administrators, security teams, and project managers to support infrastructure rollout and client onboarding.
Maintain and regularly update network diagrams, asset inventories, configuration files, and SOPs.
Participate in change management processes for network modifications and new deployments.
Stay current with emerging technologies and security threats and provide recommendations for infrastructure improvements.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in
Computer Science

Information Technology

Electronics
, or a related field.
4-6 years
of experience in enterprise network design, deployment, and support.
Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting
Cisco
or
HP/Aruba
switches,
Fortinet
or similar firewalls.
Experience in implementing and supporting
VoIP
and
Wireless LAN (WLAN)
solutions.
CCNA
(required),
CCNP
(preferred)
Fortinet NSE4
(preferred)
Familiarity with VLANs, NAT, ACLs, QoS, VPNs, BGP, and OSPF.
Exposure to network monitoring, configuration backup, and performance analytics tools.
Strong analytical, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
