Job Description
Core Accountabilities
- Providing client consultation: performing analyses of customer security needs and recommend, design, and implement secure multi-vendor network environments
- As a Network & Security Engineer, you will provide overall enterprise level infrastructure systems planning, operations and maintenance, and management.
- Design and deploy company LANs, WANs, and wireless networks firewalls, site-to-site VPNs, and remote-access VPNs
- Good understanding on Firewall (ASA /Palo Alto/FortiGate etc.) and experience in handling security concepts
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
- Knowledge on Load Balancing technologies (F5, Citrix) Implementation, troubleshooting, firmware upgrade etc
- Troubleshoot and fix high priority issues related to Firewall Load balancer, IPS/IDS & Proxy.
- Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, WLAN issues is added advantage
- Troubleshoot Site to Site VPN (IPSEC/ GETVPN/ GRE/MGRE) , Proxy related issue (In-house/Cloud Hosting) & End user remote access VPN issues.
- Knowledge and experience in Incident, Change, Problem, Service request and Configuration Management Processes
- Knowledge on Software Defined Data Centers.
- Knowledge on Cloud Security (AWS/Azure etc..)
- Monitor the queue and maintain regular updates on the Tickets as per agreed timeline, providing the detailed closure summary on the tickets.
- Detailed Root cause summary to be documented for the Problem tickets.
- Document Pre & Post implementation logs & Script for change. Network Diagram updates.
- Working on the assigned tickets within the agreed Timeline/SLA as per the Ticket Priority/Severity and Adhere to the ITIL process with zero noncompliance.
- Upskilling the technical knowledge by learning new Technology and doing relevant technical certifications.
- Bachelors/Masters or equivalent
- Experience & Technical Competencies (CCIE/PCNSE/NSE4,5,6,7/CCNP)
- Min 7+ years of industry experience as a Network Security engineering on Design, Implementation and troubleshooting Network, security, Data center and wireless.
