The Role
Provide client consultation to support the design and implementation of security components of clients\xe2\x80\x99 networks. Advanced familiarity with routing including VxLAN, switching, and security technologies such as Cisco ISE and FTD/FMC. Able to make technical decisions on all project tasks and interface with all levels of client team. Primary Responsibilities (but not limited to): \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop processes and procedures based on best practices for threat prevention \xe2\x80\xa2 Perform remote troubleshooting through proven diagnostic techniques \xe2\x80\xa2 Analyze and resolve network performance, connectivity, and related issues \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage and perform equipment builds, deploy software patches & upgrades \xe2\x80\xa2 Create and maintain accurate documentation for internal knowledge base \xe2\x80\xa2 Root Cause Analysis and Problem Resolution \xe2\x80\xa2 Actively work to identify and solve repeat issues, improving on existing services or processes where necessary \xe2\x80\xa2 Demonstrate complete proficiency in problem management \xe2\x80\xa2 Serve as technical point of contact on customer engagements \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain client relationships through multiple forms of electronic interactions \xe2\x80\xa2 Present solutions to technology issues and problems in user-friendly language \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide clear communication with customers to ensure resolution of all open issues \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist in the management of projects \xe2\x80\xa2 Regularly interface with technical and business staff of clients, including the project sponsor and stakeholders of projects in more complex engagements \xe2\x80\xa2 Identify and communicate potential opportunities for cross-selling to the sales team \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage time and expense to meet or exceed expectations defined in the Statement of Work \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide high quality content deliverables using the appropriate document templates \xe2\x80\xa2 Work with Project Manager and clients to manage expectations and timelines to ensure expectations and commitments are being met \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct/lead design workshops for complex designs to meet client\xe2\x80\x99s business and technical objectives \xe2\x80\xa2 Proactively develop plans and activities to avoid problems \xe2\x80\xa2 Educate the client on solution as appropriate throughout the life of the project

Requirements

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline \xe2\x80\xa2 7+ years of network engineering, implementation, support / troubleshooting experience \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in firewall design and implementation in medium to large environments \xe2\x80\xa2 Active CCIE certification \xe2\x80\xa2 Manufacturer certifications such as PCNSE, VCAP, CISSP \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience with designing and implementing Cisco FTD/FMC and Palo Alto \xe2\x80\xa2 Consulting experience preferred \xe2\x80\xa2 Understanding of change management, testing requirements, techniques, and tools to ensure high availability of platforms \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of ITIL processes \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a wide range of audiences including executives, business stakeholders, and IT teams \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work during non-business hours, as needed \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficiency in Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint \xe2\x80\xa2 High degree of organization and attention to detail
