Network Revenue Optimization Analyst

Job Description

Synopsis

The role will require the candidate to co-ordinate within the Revenue Division and external stakeholders to implement revenue maximizing opportunities identified by the Network Revenue Optimization unit. Support Revenue management team to measure and monitor the implemented strategies. Act as the focal point of contact with the Staff travel, Loyalty teams and RM teams and co-ordinate inputs to inventory posture for Staff travel & Loyalty teams. Represent Network Revenue Optimization on external forums.

Accountabilities
  • Support the development & execution of the strategies developed by the network optimization teams.
  • Summarize / visualize results and highlight insights & opportunities.
  • Document all ad-hoc and structural changes and measure revenue results for all network capacity changes.
  • Review network constrained and unconstrained demand from PROS and propose capacity shifts.
  • Co-ordinate with the FA team and obtain consensus on re-accommodation options for flights undergoing schedule change.
  • Co-ordinate with network planning / operations to obtain capacity restrictions and ensure capacity restrictions are implemented by the FA RM team.
  • Monitor routes impacted by regulatory restrictions and provided information to RM team to change steering if required.
  • Monitor the build on new frequencies / routes and update the network team.
  • Participate in cross functional forums (Operations / Cargo) and provide NRO recommendations.
  • Provide inputs to RM teams on staff travel & Loyalty inventory postures.
  • Co-ordinate with staff travel to implement black-outs for duty travel during busy periods.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics or Business Administration
  • 3 years\' working experience in a complex numerate and analytical environment, experience within airline industry preferred
  • Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office and query tools including at least 2 of; SQL, R, Python, Power BI, Tableau
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills with solid experience in business analysis, and at least 2 of; segmentation, regression analysis, clustering, forecasting, web analytics
