Network engineers L1 are responsible for the installation, planning, development and implementation of
LAN, WAN & Wireless networks. They work with a variety of different hardware and software systems to
build out network infrastructures that meet the needs of their clients.
Network engineers L1 may also be tasked with maintaining these systems once they are built, up &
running. This might include monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues as they arise, and making
adjustments & enhancement where necessary to ensure business continuity & services uptime.
Requirements: -
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Hold BS/B.E degree in Computers Science, Telecommunications, Information Technology or relevant
field
5+ years of experience in network designing & implementation of solutions comprising hybrid IP
technologies including and not limited to WAN, SD-WAN, LAN, Wireless, Security, VoIP,
IPTV/OTT, CCTV, GSM, Cloud & Virtualization.
Must be CCNP/HCNP Enterprise certified, CCIE and HCIE would be plus.
Cloud & Virtualization certifications (Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle, Google, VMware) would be a
plus.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Network Engineer L1 will have a wide range of responsibilities, which includes but not limited to:
Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network devices such as Router, Switches, Access
Point and Wireless Controller etc.
Going to the sites for installation and configuration of network devices.
Plan, design, test & implement networks/solutions based on industry leading best practices &
products.
Shall understand and well document client requirements.
Validate and communicate designs and re-design as per client requirements for enhancements
considering best practices & organization compliance & security policies.
Develops and improves project-related documents with any required technical architecture
diagrams. These documents might include High-Level Design, Low-Level Design, Migration Plan,
Test Plan, Methods of Procedures, Network Implementation Plan, As-Built guide, etc...
Experience in Network implementation, Positive customer service attitude with excellent soft
skills.
Troubleshoot & resolve issues reported by clients/users in timely manner.
Coordinating with IT staff to implement approved software patches & upgrades on servers or
workstations, network devices.
Provide documentation & training to on-ground technical staff for installations, provision &
troubleshooting related cases.
Ensure documentation of all routine works and user complaints along with resolution steps in
detail.
