Job Description

As a Network Engineer specializing in F5 L2 (Application Delivery) at Muller's Solutions, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our application delivery infrastructure using F5 technologies. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining F5 load balancers and associated services to ensure high availability, performance, and security of applications across the network.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and manage F5 load balancers (LTM, ASM, APM) to facilitate efficient application delivery and traffic management. Monitor application performance and analyze traffic patterns to optimize load balancing strategies and enhance user experience. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application delivery, ensuring minimal impact on service availability. Collaborate with development and operations teams to configure and support application delivery services and integrate them with existing infrastructure. Implement security measures, such as Web Application Firewall (WAF) features, to protect applications from cyber threats. Maintain up-to-date documentation for F5 configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in application delivery and F5 technologies to continuously improve solutions.

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 2+ years of experience in network engineering with a focus on application delivery and F5 technologies. Strong knowledge of F5 products, including LTM, APM, and ASM configuration and management. Experience with networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, and SSL). Ability to troubleshoot complex application delivery issues effectively and efficiently. Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Tcl, Python) for automation and customization of F5 configurations is a plus. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve performance issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant certifications such as F5 Certified Administrator (F5-CA) or similar credentials. Experience with application monitoring tools and network performance analysis tools. Familiarity with cloud-based application delivery solutions. Knowledge of security best practices related to application delivery. Experience working in an Agile or DevOps environment is a plus.
