Skills & Description:

Support the implementation of Network Operations & Maintenance elements of the Integrated Management System (IMS). Instruct the subcontractors the areas to be worked in. Ensure the work is being done as per the standards and with the quality required. Verify the daily PM/CM inspection reports as per Ashghal requirement in the EAMS App. Submit to the Engineer all the post inspection and handwritten grade assessment on a weekly basis, unless instructed by the Engineer. Ensure the safety of the crews by using the pickup with VMA or if TMA/Light TMA is used. Make sure the layout is set-up as per the approved TDP with HSE coordination. Basic knowledge of Android devices. Previous experience in Qatar, knows the city. Knowledge in Pole Camera/CCTV and other network related inspection tools. Previous experience in pipeline networks Knowledge in confined space, Authorized Gas testing, Traffic Management and safety devices. Earlier experience in supervision and coordination with client Ability to read and understand drawing and network map. Work experience in pressure piping Knowledge in pressure piping material and component Hands on experience in pipe installation Excelled knowledge with hands on experience in DI, GRP, HDPE, AC and PVC pipe material, fitting and Jointing method. Excelled knowledge with hands on experience in operating and maintaining Gate Valve, Miter gear gate valve, butterfly valves, Non-Return Valves, Air valve, Flap Valves, Pressure sustaining valve and pressure relief valve. Hand on experience in Civil, Mechanical works and excavation in different type of ground / Soil condition Coordinate with the Engineer and site team for day to day activities.

Educational Level

Diploma in Mechanical/Civil Engineering and/or sufficient extensive field experience and/or trainings

Experience

3 - 6 years' experience in a similar role in construction/operation & maintenance of water utilities, including preferably at least 2 years in a similar role on the speciality network
