Key Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced medical care to newborns with conditions such as prematurity, congenital defects, and neonatal complications
• Manage all aspects of neonatal intensive care including respiratory support, fluid management, nutrition, and medications
• Coordinate with pediatricians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and social workers to deliver integrated care
• Provide parental education and emotional support during hospitalization and beyond
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medical assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans
• Participate in regular rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to review patient progress and adjust care plans
• Keep current with developments in neonatal research, equipment, and treatment protocols
• Contribute to mentoring junior staff and support training for healthcare providers in neonatal best practices

Job Requirements
Education:

• MD or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution
• Fellowship training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
• Board Certification in Neonatology

Experience:

• At least 3 years of clinical experience in a neonatal intensive care setting

Skills:

• Strong clinical judgment and expertise in managing critically ill newborns
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments
• Dedication to family-centered and ethical medical care
• Knowledge of current neonatal technologies and best practices
