The UAE-Japan Gateway Program is a cutting-edge initiative designed to equip non-Japanese speaking employees with the necessary skills and knowledge for a seamless integration into the Japanese workplace. Our comprehensive 4-8 week program covers intensive Japanese language training, cultural acclimatization workshops, practical skills application, and psychological readiness training. We are seeking a passionate, experienced Native Japanese Teacher/Translator to join our team and contribute to the success of our participants. Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a passionate, experienced Native Japanese Teacher/Translator to join our team and contribute to the success of our participants. Key Responsibilities:
- Language Instruction: Deliver engaging and effective Japanese language lessons using innovative teaching methodologies to ensure high retention and practical application.
- Translation and Interpretation: Provide accurate translation of materials and real-time interpretation during cultural workshops and simulated business scenarios.
- Curriculum Development: Collaborate with the program team to refine language and cultural education curriculums, incorporating active learning and spaced repetition strategies.
- Cultural Immersion Workshops: Lead sessions on Japanese etiquette, social norms, and business practices to prepare participants for cultural integration.
- Participant Support: Offer personalized feedback and guidance to participants, addressing individual learning needs and fostering confidence.
- Native fluency in Japanese, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in English to ensure effective communication within our diverse team and participant group.
- A bachelor\'s degree in Education, Linguistics, Japanese Studies, or a related field. A teaching certification in Japanese as a second language is highly desirable.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching Japanese to non-native speakers, with a proven track record of successful learner outcomes.
- Experience in translation and interpretation between Japanese and English.
- Strong intercultural communication skills, with an ability to facilitate understanding and respect for Japanese culture among participants from diverse backgrounds.
