Live out / accommodation can be provided Start: Sept 2022Rate: 1000- 1200 per week Days on duty: 5 days a week followed by 6 days the next week If you already have accommodation in Dubai this position could suit so keep reading! Alternatively, the family are willing to supply accommodation for the new nanny who will be primarily based in Dubai with frequent international travel. They are looking for a nanny who is outdoorsy, who would love to care for, inspire and be a proactive participant in the development & learning journey of 2 outgoing confident and energetic boys ages 5 and 6 years. The boys are attending school (British curricular) so your brief is to support & enhance the learning process expanding upon their general knowledge and engaging with them in their current interests, introducing them to new ones and be jolly good fun. You will be on a 5-day duty schedule with Saturday & Sunday as your free days, the following week you will work 6 days with Sunday being the free day. The boys are up early & start school at 7h30 finishing at 15H00 Monday - Friday, they are normally in bed by 20H00. To successfully connect with the boys, you should be good humoured, sporty, quick witted & enormous fun, the family are friendly & welcoming however there are occasions where you will find yourself in formal environments, so you should know how to conduct yourself in a professional and appropriate manner if you have previous experience in fully staffed households that would be a definite plus. The focus of your role is on education of the boys, be it assisting with homework or resourcefully implementing activities that contribute to literacy and numeracy proficiency, creating a safe & nurturing environment that provides an opportunity for them to evolve physically, socially and academically, motivating them to reach their full potential. You will be responsible for the all-round care of the boys & everything related to their daily wellbeing. You should take your profession & responsibilities seriously and take pleasure from your role as their nanny/governess, companion & be their biggest cheerleader encouraging them to explore the world around them & passing along your positive attitude and zest for life. The boys are inquisitive & adventurous when appropriate you may need to reign them in, by calmly setting boundaries and encouraging good behaviour, the 6-year-old is emotionally mature, and you can have amazing conversations with him his younger brother is a little less confident, but once you have won him over you will have a loyal little chap by your side.
