The role: An outstanding and passionate Teacher of Arts is required for August 2023 at Dar Al Marefa. We are seeking a motivated professional with relevant IB MYP DP curriculum experience that can promote rich and diverse learning environment and demonstrate a positive approach to student development. Candidates should possess excellent knowledge of Visual art styles and skills as well as an interest in developing additional artistic options for curriculum development. All candidates should be confident and enthusiastic teachers dedicated to enhancing student learning experiences at all levels. Candidates should also illustrate a capacity to contribute to our culture of extra-curricular activities and engagement opportunities in the wider school community and events. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate teaching experience of Visual Arts to students in MYP and DP Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s/Master\'s Degree in Arts or related field;
• Valid American Teaching License, PGCE with UK Qualified Teachers Status, Bachelors of Education or SACE;
• Minimum 3 years proven teaching experience essential; ideally within an IB school;
• Proven track record in delivering outstanding results;
• Professional commitment to the successful implementation of an enriched IB/MYP and/or IB/DP curriculum;
• High level of IT Skills;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with students, parent and peers;
• Be willing to engage in extra-curricular activities;
• Strong work ethic and willingness to contribute to the general welfare of the School.
