Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced MV Panel Protection Engineer with valid Kahramaa approval to oversee and execute protection engineering tasks related to medium voltage (MV) panels and associated electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of protection schemes, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting, particularly in compliance with Kahramaa standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, review, and implement protection schemes for MV panels. Prepare and review protection relay settings and coordination studies. Conduct protection relay testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting on-site. Ensure compliance with Kahramaa regulations and safety standards in all protection-related activities. Supervise installation and maintenance of MV panels and associated protection devices. Prepare technical reports, method statements, and testing documentation. Provide technical support to the engineering and project management teams.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Kahramaa Approved certification is mandatory.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in MV protection engineering, with strong hands-on testing and commissioning background. Proficient in protection relay software. Strong understanding of IEC standards and local regulations. Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills.Job Type: Full-time
