Role Summary: WeaEUR(TM)re seeking a passionate, patient, and adaptable Music Teacher who can design and lead music sessions that support communication, motor skills, social interaction, and emotional expression. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with students with complex needs and nonverbal communication and will use music as both an instructional tool and a source of joy.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver engaging music lessons tailored to varying abilities and learning styles. Incorporate movement, rhythm, instruments, and visual supports into sessions. Collaborate with special educators, therapists, and families to support IEP goals. Facilitate performances or informal showcases when appropriate. Support sensory regulation through musical activities. Use tools such as PECs, AAC devices, or sign language where needed. Maintain documentation of student progress and participation. Create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills: BacheloraEUR(TM)s degree in Music Education, Music Therapy, or related field. Experience working in special education or with children with disabilities is strongly preferred. Ability to play at least one instrument (e.g., piano, guitar, drums). Strong classroom management and adaptive communication skills. Creativity, flexibility, and a great sense of humor. Familiarity with sensory needs and behavioral supports is a plus.
