Key Responsibilities:

Deliver dynamic music lessons that cater to various learning styles and abilities, fostering a deep appreciation for music. Teach instrumental techniques, music theory, composition, and ear training through diverse and interactive methods. Plan and coordinate student performances and recitals, showcasing their talents and progress. Provide ongoing assessments of student performance, offering constructive feedback to promote growth and improvement. Collaborate with other faculty to integrate music into school-wide programs and events. Maintain a welcoming and inspiring classroom environment that encourages creativity and confidence in students. Stay current with music education trends and incorporate new teaching methods and technologies into the curriculum.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or a closely related field. Valid teaching certification and previous experience in teaching music is highly desirable. Strong proficiency in a variety of musical instruments and vocal techniques. Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans tailored to meet diverse student needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and parents. Passion for music education and a commitment to inspiring young musicians. Willingness to participate in additional extracurricular music programs.
