We are seeking a dynamic and multilingual Van Sales Representative to join our team in the plastic & packaging industry. As a key member of our sales force, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our range of plastic products to customers within designated territories. This role requires fluency in multiple languages to effectively engage with diverse customer demographics. Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Customer Engagement:
  • Drive the company van to designated locations to showcase and sell plastic & packaging products.
  • Build strong relationships with existing customers and identify potential new customers.
  • Communicate product features and benefits in a clear and persuasive manner to generate sales.
  • Multilingual Communication:
  • Utilize language skills to engage with customers from diverse linguistic backgrounds.
  • Effectively address customer inquiries and provide product information in multiple languages.
  • Adapt sales pitches and strategies based on cultural and language preferences of customers.
  • Route Planning and Execution:
  • Plan efficient daily routes to maximize sales opportunities and minimize travel time.
  • Monitor van inventory levels and replenish products as needed to meet customer demands.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products while maintaining excellent service standards.
  • Sales Reporting and Administration:
  • Keep detailed records of sales activities, including customer interactions and sales transactions.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with sales team members and management to achieve sales targets and objectives.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the plastics & packaging or related industry.
  • Fluency in multiple languages, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Valid driver\'s license and clean driving record.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in using sales software and mobile devices for order processing and reporting.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in sales or business administration is a plus.
  • Previous experience in van sales or direct customer engagement is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with plastic & packaging products or materials is advantageous but not mandatory.
Working Conditions:
  • This role involves frequent travel within assigned territories.
  • Flexible work hours may be required to accommodate customer schedules.
  • Physical ability to lift and transport product samples and inventory.
