Mechanical Engineering
. The successful candidate will be the primary on-site expert for HVAC and Plumbing systems maintenance. This role requires a
valid driving license
and a minimum of
2 years of verifiable hands-on experience
in the Facilities Management (FM) industry, responding to and resolving mechanical and general building faults across multi-site properties.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Mechanical Systems Expertise (HVAC & Plumbing):
Perform comprehensive
Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
and reactive repairs on
HVAC
equipment, including
FCUs, AHUs, split units,
and chilled water systems (e.g., motor replacements, belt adjustments, coil cleaning, and refrigeration troubleshooting).
Diagnose and repair faults in
Plumbing
and drainage systems, including water pumps, pressure booster systems, hot water units, and sanitary fixtures.
Conduct minor repairs and adjustments on
fire suppression systems
(valves, flow switches) as related to the mechanical components.
Secondary Electrical & General Support:
Perform basic
Electrical
fault-finding and maintenance on mechanical equipment control panels (e.g., checking contactors, thermal overloads, and motor connections).
Handle general building fabric repairs, including minor carpentry, ceiling tile replacement, and minor patch-up work.
Compliance, Safety, and Documentation:
Adhere strictly to all FM
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
and safety standards, particularly those related to
HVAC and pressure systems
.
Utilize the
CMMS
system to accurately record all maintenance activities, detailing actions taken, parts used, and system status.
Mobility & Response:
Respond immediately to mechanical emergencies across multiple sites, utilizing a
valid driving license
and company vehicle.
Requirements
Education/Qualification:
A
Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
or a recognized equivalent trade certificate (e.g., HVAC or Refrigeration).
Experience:
Minimum
2 years
of continuous, hands-on experience as a Multi Technician in the
Facilities Management (FM) industry.
License:
A
valid driving license
is mandatory.
Technical Skills:
Deep proficiency in the maintenance, repair, and fault diagnosis of commercial HVAC and plumbing systems.
Physical:
Able to work in varying environmental conditions and handle manual tasks required for maintenance work.
