with proven experience in interior fit-out projects to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and finishing of gypsum-based ceiling and partition systems in line with project specifications and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Measure, cut, and install gypsum board, ceilings (including drywall and false ceilings), and partition systems based on architectural drawings and site requirements.
Install metal and wooden framing for partitions, ceilings, and wall linings.
Execute works related to gypsum false ceilings (Lay-in, Gypsum Board, Tile Ceiling, etc.).
Carry out jointing and finishing (taping, sanding, and painting preparation).
Read and interpret detailed interior drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.
Coordinate with site engineers and other trades to ensure timely and accurate installation.
Ensure high-quality finishing with attention to detail.
Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and safety at the site.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and site rules.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Proven experience (3-5 years minimum) as a Gypsum Carpenter in an interior fit-out company.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of various ceiling systems, wall partitions, and gypsum board techniques.
Experience working with both residential and commercial interior projects.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good physical condition and manual dexterity.
Strong attention to detail and quality control.
Knowledge of safety procedures and safe work practices.
Knowledge of other trades like painting, joinery, or minor MEP coordination is a plus.
