Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot issues in electric motors, generators, alternators, and other rotating equipment.
Disassemble motors and inspect parts for wear, damage, or failure.
Repair or replace defective parts, including bearings, windings, brushes, shafts, and seals.
Reassemble motors and perform alignment and balancing as required.
Test repaired equipment for performance, using testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and megohmmeters.
Perform preventive maintenance on motors and associated equipment.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service reports.
Adhere to all safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.
Operate hoists, cranes, and hand or power tools to complete tasks.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients regarding repair status and recommendations.
Keep work area clean and organized.
