Position Overview
First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is looking for a Mortgage Sales Officer to promote and sell Islamic mortgage products, build new customer relationships, and strengthen partnerships with real estate brokers and market stakeholders. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, ensuring compliance with FAB's policies, and providing excellent customer service.

What You'll Do

  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets for Islamic mortgage products
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with customers and real estate brokers
  • Conduct promotional activities, roadshows, and client meetings to generate new business
  • Ensure all customer applications and documentation are complete, accurate, and compliant
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and recommend suitable banking products to clients
  • Provide daily sales MIS and regular performance reports to the Team Leader
  • Follow up on documentation discrepancies, resubmissions, and approvals to minimize errors
  • Handle customer issues and complaints professionally, escalating only critical matters when necessary
  • Monitor competitor activities and suggest product improvements to remain competitive
  • Maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, branches, and support teams
  • Ensure all activities comply with FAB's Code of Conduct, policies, and procedures
Ideal Profile
  • University degree preferred; sales diploma or certification desirable
  • 3-5 years of experience selling banking products, ideally in mortgages or financial services
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills; bilingual ability is an advantage
  • Familiarity with FAB retail products and Islamic banking principles
  • Proactive, customer-focused, and results-driven mindset
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with senior corporate and government clients
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to work under pressure and meet targets
