Job Description

Job Summary:
The Montessori Teacher is responsible for creating a nurturing, stimulating, and child-centered learning environment using Montessori principles and materials. The role involves guiding each childs individual development, fostering independence, curiosity, and a love of learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons and activities aligned with Montessori philosophy and curriculum.
Observe and assess each childs progress, maintaining detailed records and sharing insights with parents and school leadership.
Prepare the classroom environment to support independent learning and exploration.
Guide childrens social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development in a respectful and supportive manner.
Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom culture.
Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers through meetings, conferences, and progress reports.
Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school meetings, training, and events.
Ensure the proper care, maintenance, and organization of Montessori materials and classroom resources.
Uphold the schools mission, vision, and values.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Education or related field (preferred).
Montessori certification from a recognized training center (AMI/AMS or equivalent).
Previous experience working with young children in a Montessori classroom is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of Montessori principles and child development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
