Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Montessori Nursery Teacher to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the holistic development of young children, combining the principles of the EYFS and Montessori education approaches.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver a well-rounded curriculum based on the EYFS and Montessori principles, ensuring a balanced focus on academic, social, emotional, and physical development.

Create a safe and engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity.

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans, activities, and assessments tailored to individual children's needs and learning styles.

Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, maintaining open communication channels to support the overall well-being of each child.

Monitor and document children's progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for assessments and reporting to parents.

Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive educational team.

Integrate technology and other educational tools effectively into the learning environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and PowerPoint, to create engaging materials for teaching and presentations.

Write comprehensive reports on children's progress and development.

Develop and execute weekly lesson plans, incorporating diverse and interactive teaching methods.

Prepare and distribute weekly letters to parents, keeping them informed about classroom activities and learning objectives.

Organize and conduct regular parent meetings to discuss children's progress and address any concerns.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Maintain regular working hours from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Salary will be based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an EYFS and/or Montessori Nursery Teacher.

Cache Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Early Years Education.

A strong understanding of the principles and practices of both EYFS and Montessori education.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to use Microsoft Office applications for documentation and presentation purposes.

Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Knowledge of child development, behavior management, and age-appropriate teaching methods.

Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the children and the nursery.
