Job Description

The role holder is responsible for editing the audio-visual material recorded by videography section to ensure that high quality productions about key stakeholders are transmitted according to the assumed schedules. The role holder is also responsible for supporting other sections and departments in designing productions. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the relevant business policies and procedures.

Participates in the development and implementation of the News Centre Department plans and budgets, in line with organizational objectives.
Acts upon the Montage Section mandates, ensuring effective work processes in order to achieve high performance standards.
Ensures compliance with organizational policies, procedures and quality standards in the Montage Section.

Edits videos based on content provided by videography team.
Structures edited content to ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of the film/video.
Delivers productions based on special projects for content provided by key stakeholders.
Prepares texts for voice over for edited videos.
Prepares video edits for flash.
Conducts voice over for video reports.
Supports the development and edition of TV works and short feature films in line with assumed visual identity.
Supports other departments in developing other media productions.
Cooperates with other Sections and Departments to enable necessary transmissions from the perspective of video edition.
Assembles raw footage and processes videos between formats (digital and analogue) as needed.
Inputs and synchronises uncut rushes as well as sound (voiceover, music, sounds).
Prepares videos in line with assumed standards for communicating brands and studies individual styles of GDMO\xe2\x80\x99s key stakeholders to adjust video editing techniques.
Stays up to day with innovations in the area of video editing techniques.

Qualifications

Diploma in Visual Arts or Marketing or Information Technology
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Visual Arts or Marketing or Information Technology is preferred
