Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Model Maker / Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in producing high-quality architectural scale models and prototypes for real estate, architectural, and installation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Create detailed architectural scale models and physical prototypes based on CAD drawings, parametric models, and design specifications. Use CAD and 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Rhino, Grasshopper (parametric design), or similar tools to prepare, modify, and optimize model designs. Interpret parametric and complex geometries and translate them into accurate physical models. Fabricate models using a variety of materials including wood, plastic, acrylic, foam, metal, and mixed media. Operate and support 3D printing and prototyping technologies (FDM, SLA, FGF, etc.) to produce precise components. Perform assembly, finishing, sanding, painting, and detailing to achieve high-quality presentation standards. Collaborate with architects, designers, and project teams to ensure design intent, accuracy, and constructability. Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe working environment.
Job Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience as a Model Maker, Fabricator, or similar role. Bachelor's in Architecture, Industrial Design, or a related field. Proven experience working with real estate maquette or architectural model-making companies. Proficiency in parametric and 3D modeling software such as Rhino / Grasshopper, 3ds Max, or equivalent tools. Strong understanding of materials, fabrication methods, and model-making tools. Hands-on knowledge of 3D printing, CNC machining, laser cutting, and prototyping workflows. High attention to detail, craftsmanship, and ability to meet tight project deadlines. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
