About the Role

We are looking for a highly analytical and insights-driven

Mobility Data Analyst

to support our

Yay Food

(food delivery) and

Yay Drive

(ride-hailing) platforms. This role will focus on analyzing mobility, demand, and delivery/ride data to optimize operations, improve customer and driver experience, and support data-driven decision-making across both products.

Key Responsibilities

Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from Yay Food and Yay Drive platforms (orders, rides, GPS, driver-partner activity, customer usage). Monitor and report on key mobility metrics: delivery times, driver utilization, order-to-ride ratios, cancellations, wait times, and route efficiency. Build dashboards and visualization tools for real-time performance tracking. Identify patterns and provide insights on customer demand, peak hours, and geographic mobility trends. Support pricing, incentives, and promotions strategy with data-backed recommendations. Work closely with Operations, Product, and Marketing teams to optimize supply-demand balance. Develop predictive models to forecast demand, improve fleet allocation, and reduce inefficiencies. Track KPIs related to cost optimization, customer satisfaction, and driver engagement. Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support new feature launches, city expansions, and business strategies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field. Proven experience as a Data Analyst, ideally in food delivery, ride-hailing, logistics, or mobility tech. Strong skills in SQL, Excel, and data analysis tools (Python, R). Proficiency in visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. Solid understanding of mobility and logistics metrics (ETA, route optimization, utilization rates). Strong communication skills to translate complex data into actionable insights. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Preferred Skills

Experience with geospatial data and mapping tools (ArcGIS, QGIS, or equivalent). Knowledge of predictive analytics and machine learning techniques. Familiarity with real-time analytics and event-streaming data. Background in working with delivery or ride-hailing platforms.
