Role Overview
As a hands-on Mobile Technical Delivery Lead, you'll steer the end-to-end delivery of high-impact employee mobile apps for iOS and Android. You'll split your time (~75% technical, ~25% team leadership) between coding, architecture, CI/CD, release pipelines, and team enablement. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes aligned with CLIENT'S's digital vision.
Key Responsibilities

• Full lifecycle delivery: Oversee the entire app delivery process - from concept and design to testing, release, and maintenance.
• Team leadership & mentoring: Guide mobile developers and QA engineers; facilitate growth through technical coaching and 1:1s.
• Architecture & scalability: Define layered, modular mobile architecture (React Native + TypeScript + Clean Architecture), including native SDK integration and offline-first design.
• CI/CD & release pipelines: Build, maintain, and optimize release workflows using Fastlane, Jenkins, GitHub Actions; manage app store submissions.
• Agile governance: Facilitate scrum ceremonies (planning, grooming, daily stand-ups, retrospectives), unblock the team, and streamline delivery according to agile best practices.
• Stakeholder collaboration: Act as technical partner to product, UX/UI, backend, and stakeholders - translate trade-offs, manage requirements, and ensure alignment.
• Quality & best practices: Champion unit/integration testing, TDD, code reviews, documentation, and automated test frameworks.
• Performance & optimization: Monitor app health (Crashlytics, Sentry), diagnose issues, and implement improvements for UX and reliability.
• Delivery reporting: Prepare roadmap updates, technical reports, and release communications for senior management.
• Team health & continuous improvement: Foster a culture of trust, conduct regular team check-ins, and evolve delivery processes.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years in mobile development, with at least 3 years in a delivery lead/technical leadership role.
• Expert-level experience with React Native and TypeScript, plus native mobile SDKs (Swift, Kotlin/Java).
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns: MVVM, Redux, Clean Architecture, and TDD.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, app store release workflows, and version control systems (Git).
• Proven track record in Agile/Scrum delivery - facilitating ceremonies and managing blockers.
• Clear, effective communication skills - able to bridge technical and non-technical audiences.

• Proficiency with performance and analytics tools (Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry, app analytics).
• Solid knowledge of mobile security practices and data privacy regulations, particularly within UAE/GCC context.
• GCC region experience, especially within financial services or public sector environments.
