Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical

App Tester

to join our product development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing our mobile and web applications to ensure optimal functionality, usability, and performance across devices and platforms. You will work closely with developers, designers, and project managers to deliver a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Perform

manual and automated testing

of mobile (iOS/Android) and/or web applications Write and execute

test cases

,

test scripts

, and

test plans

Identify, document, and track

bugs

,

glitches

, and

performance issues

Collaborate with developers and QA team to ensure timely resolution of defects Perform

cross-browser

and

cross-device

testing Validate new features before production release Assist in

regression testing

smoke testing

, and

UAT (User Acceptance Testing)

Maintain comprehensive documentation of test results and quality metrics

Requirements

Proven experience in app or software testing (1+ years preferred) Familiarity with

manual testing methods

; knowledge of

automated testing tools

(e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestFlight, BrowserStack) is a plus Understanding of SDLC, agile development, and QA methodologies Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and documentation skills Familiarity with

bug tracking tools

(e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Trello) Ability to work independently and as part of a remote or on-site team

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field ISTQB or other QA certification is a plus Experience with

CI/CD pipelines

(Postman, Swagger)
