The Mixologist at Raffles & Fairmont Doha is an expert in the art and science of crafting innovative and exceptional cocktails. This role requires creativity, advanced knowledge of spirits and mixology techniques, and a passion for delivering an outstanding guest experience in a luxury setting. The Mixologist plays a key role in elevating the beverage program and enhancing the overall atmosphere of the bar.


Key Responsibilities:

Create and serve unique, high-quality cocktails and beverages that align with the brand's luxury standards and guest preferences. Develop new cocktail recipes and seasonal drink menus in collaboration with the Bar Manager. Engage guests with expert knowledge about drinks, ingredients, and mixology trends to enhance their experience. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, ensuring all tools and ingredients are prepared and readily available. Train and mentor bar staff on cocktail preparation, presentation, and customer service. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times. Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and assist with ordering supplies to maintain optimal bar operations. Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and feedback with professionalism and enthusiasm. Participate in promotional events and collaborate with marketing teams to highlight the bar's offerings. Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and innovative mixology practices through ongoing education.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Mixologist or Senior Bartender, preferably in luxury hotel/s and/or resort/s. Deep knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, cocktail recipes, and mixology techniques. Creativity and passion for crafting innovative drinks. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-focused approach. Ability to train, motivate, and lead bar team members. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Physically able to stand for long periods and perform bar-related tasks. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus. * Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
