Job Description

Our client is a mining company currently in a transformative phase in a mining expansion project, injecting a capital infusion of approximately US$400 million. The venture encompasses building a new plant, multiple shafts, and expanding resources. This position will be based at corporate level and provide technical support to the mine site operation.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing and managing the exploration, assessment, and development of mineral resources within a mining company or natural resource extraction project
Conduct geological studies and surveys; use modeling software for accurate mineral deposit representations.
Estimate economically viable mineral reserves; collaborate for comprehensive reserve estimates.
Ensure compliance with regulations; submit required reports to authorities.
Evaluate geological and economic risks; mitigate through strategic planning.
Contribute to project plans; ensure cost-effective resource extraction.
Work with multidisciplinary teams; coordinate various aspects of resource management.
Stay updated on exploration technologies; implement tools for efficient assessments.
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
+10 years of experience in mineral resources geology
+5years of experience in a managerial position / head of department
Strong UG experience
