Cash Product Manager

As a Barclays Cash Product Manager for the Middle East region, this is an exciting opportunity to be working closely with the Head of Cash Management UAE and the wider Transaction Banking in designing, building, and managing Cash Management products on an end-to-end basis. You will be responsible for generating sustainable returns and the growth of cash management revenue in UAE by driving and delivering cash management product capability including delivering and supervising associated projects in the UAE.

What will you be doing?

• Providing Subject-Matter-Expertise on cash product and Processes, deal structuring, Pricing, client pitches, technical support, Cash Origination, coverage for Cash Management products
• Evaluating and delivering new product developments/enhancements, product maintenance, and assisting with deal (RFI/RFP) responses
• Assisting with defining strategy, undertaking product gap analyses, and delivering product improvements and enhancements to help the Sales targets for increased market/retention
• Combining client insights with a knowledge of the financial, risk and operational underpinnings of the product to recommend propositions that solve client problems
• Maintaining the product-related governance and controls agenda in cooperation with key internal stakeholders such as Ops Rigor, Controls, Compliance, Business Management
• Managing product development portfolio, Strategic Investment cycle and ownership of and delivery of projects (incl. Agile delivery models and branch wide impact projects)
• Handling New Product Acceptance (NAPA) submission and closure of any outstanding actions with regards to new product initiatives/amendments to existing products
• Ensuring on-going review of UAE Cash Management products to ensure performance in line with set objectives including mitigating risks and applying overall governance

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for

• Experience of handling cash products for large corporates and financial institutions and good domain knowledge on cash products across payments, liquidity, digital & FX
• Excellent analytical capability, with a problem-solving mind-set and ability to present complex data in a simple and concise way to help decision making
• In-depth knowledge of product lifecycle discipline and end-to-end process, proven track record of owning and delivering projects and/or initiatives
• Interaction with internal stakeholders such as FinCrime, Compliance, Legal, Audit, operations and external stakeholders such as clients local regulator, vendors, fintech partners

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Owning periodic product reviews and oversee regulatory compliance, adherence to operating model and ownership of regulatory impacts
• Working knowledge of the full range of business disciplines e.g., Compliance, Operations, Service, Sales, Marketing, IT, Finance, and Risk
• Ability to improve and take ownership of the control environment and understand the root causes of risk events/incidents/issues and how to prevent them in future
• Has ability to apply analytical reasoning and judgement to solve problems and employing appropriate resources to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
