Job Title: Microbiologist with Chemist Background
Location: Ras Al Khaimah Free Zone, UAE
Department: Quality Control / Laboratory
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Microbiologist with a strong background in Chemistry to join our quality control team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting lab tests to ensure the safety, quality, and compliance of our products, particularly within the food industry. This role requires a meticulous individual with a strong understanding of microbiological and chemical analysis.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and non-routine microbiological and chemical analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Prepare samples, media, and reagents for testing.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as autoclaves, incubators, microscopes, pH meters, and spectrophotometers.
• Accurately record, analyze, and interpret test data.
• Maintain detailed and precise laboratory documentation in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and ensure a clean and sterile laboratory environment.
• Investigate and report any non-conformities or deviations in product quality.
• Stay updated with relevant food safety standards and regulations (e.g., UAE.S, GSO, HACCP).

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a microbiology or chemistry role within the UAE.
• Experience in the food industry or with food group companies is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with lab testing, analysis, and documentation.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, compliance, and laboratory best practices.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Must be currently available in the UAE.
