Position Overview
The MHE Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining forklifts and other material handling equipment to support uninterrupted warehouse operations. The role requires hands-on technical skills, basic diagnostic capability, and accurate record keeping.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and carry out corrective actions
• Use diagnostic tools and basic computer systems to troubleshoot faults and record maintenance activities
• Maintain accurate records of service history and spare parts inventory
• Identify leaks, component wear, and electrical faults and resolve them efficiently
• Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to minimize equipment downtime
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company maintenance procedures
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe and organized condition

Ideal Profile

• Diploma or equivalent technical qualification
• Minimum 3 years of experience in MHE or forklift repair and maintenance
• Basic computer knowledge with ability to use diagnostic tools and maintain inventory records
• Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting
• Physically fit and capable of hands-on maintenance work
• Decent communication skills for coordination with teams
