Position Overview
The MHE Technician - Emirates Logistics Dubai will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of material handling equipment, including forklifts and related machinery. The role involves diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring equipment is safe and reliable for warehouse operations.

Core Duties

• Inspect, maintain, and repair forklifts and other material handling equipment as assigned
• Perform troubleshooting for mechanical faults, hydraulic system leaks, and electrical problems
• Carry out preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and ensure safe operation
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify equipment issues and support repair decisions
• Maintain records of repairs, parts usage, and inventory in line with company procedures
• Ensure spare parts availability and report shortages to supervisors
• Adhere to company safety standards while performing repair and maintenance activities
• Support warehouse operations by keeping all MHE equipment in reliable working condition

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related technical field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in MHE maintenance and forklift repair
• Basic knowledge of troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and ability to maintain parts inventory records
• Physically fit and able to work in a warehouse environment
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Basic computer skills for operating diagnostic software and record keeping
