Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of fabricators, welders, and fitters in the workshop and on-site.
Review fabrication drawings and ensure accurate interpretation and execution.
Plan and allocate jobs to meet production schedules and project deadlines.
Monitor material usage, fabrication quality, and adherence to safety standards.
Conduct inspections to ensure fabricated components meet design and quality requirements.
Maintain proper documentation for production, quality checks, and manpower utilization.
Train and guide team members in fabrication techniques, safety practices, and productivity improvement.
Coordinate with project engineers and management for daily progress and issue resolution.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum
6 years of experience
in metal or steel fabrication (structural, piping, or custom fabrication).
Proven experience as a
Fabrication Foreman or Supervisor
in UAE or GCC preferred.
Strong knowledge of fabrication drawings, materials, and tools.
Ability to read and interpret
engineering drawings and welding symbols
.
Excellent communication and team management skills.
Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Email, Reporting).
