Job Overview

: We are seeking a reliable and efficient Messenger (Bike Rider) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of documents, packages, and other materials to various locations within the designated area. As a Messenger, you will play a vital role in maintaining the flow of operations by ensuring that deliveries are completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

:

Delivery Services

: Office documents, packages, Invoices, Cheques, Cash, and other materials to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner.

Route Planning

: Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure on-time delivery, avoiding delays and customer satisfaction.

Safety and Compliance

: Adhere to traffic laws and safety protocols while riding the bike to ensure both personal safety and the safety of the delivered items.

Customer Interaction

: Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner upon delivery, ensuring all instructions are followed and confirming receipt.

Record Keeping

: Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, including time of delivery, recipient details, and any issues encountered during the process.

Equipment Maintenance

: Ensure the bike and delivery tools (e.g., bags, GPS devices) are well-maintained, clean, and in good working condition.

Communication

: Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher or supervisor to report progress, any issues, or delays in deliveries.

Flexibility

: Adapt to changes in delivery schedules or routes as necessary and respond promptly to urgent requests.

Qualifications

:

Experience

: Prior experience in delivery services or as a bike rider is preferred but not required.

Skills

: Strong knowledge of the local area and roads. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong attention to detail and organization.

Physical Fitness

: Must be in good physical condition and able to handle the physical demands of cycling and carrying deliveries.

Requirements

: Valid bike and/or motorcycle license (where applicable). Preferred : a reliable, well-maintained bike and safety gear (helmet, reflective gear). Smartphone with navigation capability for route tracking.

Availability

: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as needed.

Pay: From AED3,000.00 per month
