Job Description

Job Purpose:

To perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in commercial or residential buildings, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Mechanical:

Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including chillers, FCUs, AHUs, ductwork, and mechanical ventilation systems. Maintain pumps, valves, fans, compressors, and other mechanical equipment. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance as scheduled.

Electrical:

Perform maintenance and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, distribution boards, breakers, and switchgear. Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and malfunctions. Ensure adherence to electrical safety standards and proper grounding.

Plumbing:

Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage, pumps, valves, and sanitary fixtures. Fix leaks, replace fittings, and clear blockages. Ensure all plumbing systems function within required pressure and flow parameters.

Additional Duties:

Respond to maintenance service requests and emergencies promptly. Maintain service logs and update maintenance records accurately. Follow safety protocols and ensure use of proper tools and PPE. Coordinate with team members and external vendors when needed. Report all unresolved issues and completed tasks to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

ITI Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing trade. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in the UAE or GCC, preferably in facilities maintenance. Strong knowledge of MEP systems, with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings. Valid UAE Driving License .

Skills & Competencies:

Technical troubleshooting and repair skills across MEP disciplines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage. Willingness to work in shifts, on-call, and during weekends if required.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
