to join our engineering and construction team. The MEP Technical Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, coordinating, and overseeing MEP systems in construction projects to ensure optimal performance, quality, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the design and planning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for buildings.
Interpret architectural and structural drawings and coordinate MEP designs accordingly.
Review and verify MEP shop drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, contractors, and project managers.
Ensure coordination of MEP services with other building systems and trades.
Attend site meetings and resolve technical issues related to MEP works.
Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
Monitor construction work for compliance with design, codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Prepare reports, schedules, and documentation as required.
Perform quality assurance and quality control checks on MEP installations.
Conduct site inspections and address any non-conformities or deviations.
Ensure MEP systems adhere to local regulations, building codes, and sustainability standards.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry practices, materials, and technologies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in MEP design and construction
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MEP modelling software.
Familiarity with international and local codes .
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
