Job Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day MEP operations and maintenance activities for assigned sites.
Allocate tasks and monitor the performance of technicians, ensuring adherence to planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules and reactive maintenance requests.
Utilize the
QFM system
for work order management, asset tracking, and reporting.
Conduct regular inspections of MEP installations to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with statutory requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for specialized services when required.
Ensure all works are executed in accordance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
Prepare and submit daily/weekly reports on maintenance activities, manpower deployment, and material usage.
Assist in budget preparation for maintenance works and ensure cost-effective resource utilization.
Train and mentor junior staff to enhance technical skills and operational efficiency.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
Minimum
5 years' experience
in MEP maintenance, with at least
2 years in a supervisory role
within a
facility management company
.
Valid Qatari Driving License
is mandatory.
Proven experience in using the
QFM (Concept Evolution)
system for maintenance management.
Strong knowledge of MEP systems, building codes, and safety regulations.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Flexibility to work outside normal working hours for emergency call-outs if required.
