Key Responsibilities

Project Management:

Oversee MEP installation activities on-site, ensuring that all work aligns with project specifications and schedules. Coordinate with project managers, architects, and contractors to integrate MEP systems effectively into the overall interior design.

Quality Control:

Inspect and ensure the quality of MEP installations, adhering to relevant standards and regulations. Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any issues or deviations from the project plans.

Team Coordination:

Supervise MEP teams and subcontractors, providing guidance and support as needed. Schedule and coordinate MEP activities to minimize disruptions and ensure efficient workflow.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure that all MEP work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Implement and enforce safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all site personnel.

Problem-Solving:

Address and resolve any technical issues or conflicts related to MEP systems that arise during the fit-out process. Liaise with engineers and other technical experts to find solutions to complex problems.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of MEP installations, including drawings, specifications, and change orders. Prepare and submit progress reports to project managers and other stakeholders.

Client Interaction:

Communicate with clients to understand their requirements and ensure that the MEP installations meet their expectations. Address client concerns and provide updates on the progress of MEP work.

Budget and Resource Management:

Monitor MEP work against project budgets and timelines, making adjustments as necessary to stay within scope. Manage resources, including materials and equipment, ensuring they are used efficiently and effectively.

Skills and Qualifications

Technical Expertise:

Deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, and how they integrate within interior fit-outs.

Leadership:

Ability to lead and manage teams effectively.

Problem-Solving:

Strong analytical skills to address and resolve technical issues.

Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.

Attention to Detail:

Precision in ensuring installations are done correctly and to standard.

Safety Awareness:

Knowledge of safety regulations and practices to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience:

Relevant experience in MEP supervision, especially in interior fit-out projects, is highly desirable. Experience in the UAE market and familiarity with local regulations can be advantageous.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
