Job Description

The MEP Supervisor oversees and coordinates the maintenance and repair of

Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems

within facilities. This role ensures compliance with safety standards, service level agreements (SLAs), and operational policies while delivering high-quality engineering and maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities

Team Supervision

Manage and supervise daily activities of technicians and contractors. Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to job descriptions. Conduct performance evaluations and organize training programs.

Maintenance & Operations

Oversee servicing, preventive maintenance (PPM), and reactive maintenance of MEP systems. Ensure optimal utilization of manpower and resources. Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency situations. Conduct site inspections and audits to maintain quality standards.

Compliance & Safety

Ensure all works comply with company SOPs, safety regulations, and fire/life safety requirements. Promote safe work practices and proper use of PPE. Investigate accidents and prepare reports.

Coordination & Reporting

Liaise with tenants, contractors, and internal teams for maintenance works. Maintain accurate records of work orders, timesheets, and technical reports. Prepare weekly/monthly reports on maintenance activities and KPIs.

Technical Expertise

Evaluate problematic systems and recommend repair or replacement. Ensure proper functioning of electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems. Implement energy conservation programs and innovative solutions.

Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum

3-5 years of experience

in MEP maintenance within Facilities Management. Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing systems, and building automation. Familiarity with safety standards and FM software.

Skills Required

Leadership and team management. Problem-solving and decision-making. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies. Knowledge of PPM scheduling and SLA compliance.
