Purpose:

To oversee and coordinate all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) works at the site, ensuring timely execution, quality compliance, and adherence to safety standards throughout all project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise day-to-day MEP site activities, including installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire-fighting systems. Coordinate MEP works with civil, interior, and other trades to avoid conflicts and ensure smooth workflow. Ensure that all works are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule. Review MEP shop drawings and ensure they are implemented correctly on-site. Monitor subcontractor performance and verify the quality of work and materials. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Prepare daily progress reports and submit to the MEP Engineer / Project Manager. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical or site coordination issues. Ensure all MEP systems are tested and commissioned in accordance with project and authority requirements. Verify as-built drawings and ensure documentation is complete before handover.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. 5-10 years of hands-on experience in MEP supervision (preferably in fit-out, commercial, or residential projects). Strong knowledge of MEP systems, drawings, and installation methods. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills. Good computer skills (MS Office, AutoCAD, etc.). Thorough understanding of safety procedures and regulations.

Preferred:

UAE / GCC experience in interior fit-out or construction projects. Familiarity with local authority standards (DEWA, DM, DCD, etc.). Valid UAE driving license.
