Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled

MEP Supervisor

to join our dynamic team in the UAE for a prominent building construction project. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the UAE building construction industry, with a strong background in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems design, installation, and maintenance. Immediate joiners will be given priority.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Planning:

Prepare and review MEP designs for building systems, ensuring compliance with local building codes and standards. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders for integrated design solutions.

Installation and Supervision:

Oversee the installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for building projects. Supervise the work of subcontractors and ensure it meets quality standards and safety regulations.

Quality Control and Compliance:

Ensure all MEP systems are installed and function according to design specifications. Perform site inspections and testing of installed systems. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements, including local authority inspections.

Project Coordination and Support:

Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely delivery and completion of MEP tasks. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to MEP systems on-site. Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of MEP designs, installations, and testing procedures. Prepare regular progress reports for management and clients. Ensure all as-built drawings and documents are completed and delivered on time.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an MEP Supervisor in the UAE building construction industry.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of MEP systems and their integration in building construction projects. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software relevant to MEP systems. Familiarity with local codes, standards, and regulations in the UAE construction industry. Strong communication skills to liaise with clients, architects, and subcontractors. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Qualifications:

Certification in MEP systems or project management is an added advantage. Previous experience in large-scale commercial or residential building projects is preferred.
