Job Description

The MEP Site Engineer is responsible to oversee the site execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works for construction projects, ensuring all systems are installed in accordance with design specifications and project schedules. Acts as the technical point of contact between site operations, consultants, and contractors for all MEP-related issues.

JOB LOCATION - FUJAIRAH, UAE

QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid UAE driving license Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering AutoCAD or Revit National Police Clearance (Mandatory)

EXPERIENCE

:

5+ years of relevant experience in MEP execution within the UAE construction industry. Strong experience in HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, drainage, and electrical site work. Familiarity with DEWA/FEWA standards. Proven track record of working with consultants, contractors, and site coordination with multiple teams.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Execution of Work on Site: Supervises and oversees all MEP related tasks daily on site and ensures that construction aligns with the approved drawings and specifications. Technical Guidance: Reading and executing Electrical & plumbing drawings. Solves on-site technical issues or coordinates with the Chief engineer Inspecting & corrections: Monitoring workmanship and adherence to specifications Quality Control: Ensures materials and workmanship meet standards and specifications. Coordinates testing and commissioning with the Chief engineer and the contractors Progress Monitoring: Tracks construction progress against project timelines and update the Division manager and Chief engineer with reports and forecasts. Coordination with Other Disciplines: Coordinates with Civil team, safety team, and contractors. Documentation and Reporting: Maintains records such as daily progress reports, site logs, and inspection reports. Technical knowledge of MEP systems installation and coordination. Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and specifications. Good knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and MS Office. Strong communication skills. Knowledge of local codes and international standards . Problem-solving and decision-making skills. Time management and ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure.
