Job Title: MEP Quantity Surveyor & Site Inspector

Job Purpose

We are seeking a versatile

MEP Quantity Surveyor & Inspector

to join our team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between site execution and commercial management, ensuring that MEP installations meet technical standards while maintaining strict cost control and accurate quantity reporting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Quantity Surveying (Commercial)

Prepare detailed

Quantity Take-offs

and

Bill of Quantities (BOQ)

for mechanical and electrical services. Review and verify progress payments, variations, and final accounts for subcontractors. Conduct rate analysis for MEP materials and labor in the local UAE market. Assist in the procurement process by reviewing technical and commercial bids.

2. MEP Inspection (Technical)

Conduct on-site inspections of HVAC, Firefighting, Plumbing, and Electrical installations to ensure compliance with approved

Shop Drawings

and

UAE Civil Defense/DEWA/ADDC

regulations. Raise and monitor

Request for Inspections (RFI)

and

Non-Conformance Reports (NCR)

. Oversee material deliveries to verify they match approved submittals. Witness testing and commissioning (T&C) of MEP systems before handover.

3. Coordination & Reporting

Liaise between the project manager, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve site-level technical issues. Maintain accurate daily/weekly progress reports and site diaries.

Candidate Requirements

Education:

Bachelor's degree in

Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

(Attested).

Experience:

Minimum

5 years in the UAE

specifically in MEP construction.

Technical Knowledge:

Deep understanding of UAE building codes, DEWA/ADDC standards, and Dubai/Abu Dhabi Municipality regulations.

Software Skills:

Proficiency in

AutoCAD

,

PlanSwift

(or similar QS software), and MS Excel.

Soft Skills:

Strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a high-pressure site environment.

Driving License:

A valid UAE driving license is highly preferred.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
